What colour bifolds can I have?

Typical choices include black, grey and white gloss, but the selection available to you from Micron Windows includes more than 200 choices available by special order.

Are bifold doors made to measure?

Yes, we do offer bifold doors manufactured to order from our factory.

Can bifold doors open in or out?

We can install your bifolds to open either in or out. However, once your doors are installed, the opening direction cannot be changed.

What glass is used?

We install a variety of glass panes for bifold doors, including double and triple glazed, and Low-E coated glass on the inner pane and low iron on the outer pane.

How secure are they?

These doors feature a multi-point locking system to provide the security you’re looking for.

Do you provide a guarantee?

Yes. A 10-year guarantee is available on all our products.

Do I need planning permission?

Double check with your local council to find out if you live in a conservation area or property that is listed, but typically you won’t need planning permission for patio doors or sliding doors.

Can I choose a fixed door option?

Yes, single normal door options are available.

Can I have blinds inside the glass of my bifold doors?

You can! Blinds can be installed in between two panes of glass with a pull-cord option or magnetic slider.

Should I consider U-values?

You shouldn’t have to since most bifold doors will meet or exceed building regulation U-values.
